18 Months

Today was Jacob's half birthday. Sad to say he is already 18 months old. I can't believe where the time has gone. So we went outside to enjoy the Fall air and try to get some great 18 month pictures. If nothing else, I did get his personality after naptime!

Not exactly in the phototaking mood. Then he was off and running...

and playing in the leaves...

and backing it up. Not even sure how this happened but I asked the girls to "back it up" and he started backing up toward the fence with a big silly grin on his face...

I was also able to get his climbing over the picnic table and earning his new name of Jacob Isaac Christopher Herbert Stahr...

And with a high five from dad that was it. He is just 18 months. Acting like he's been 18 months for quite some time. No big deal. Even though his mama's heart is tearing apart because he is getting way too big, way too fast and he just won't slow down even for a minute. Then he comes over and sits on my lap and gives me big hugs and kisses as if to say that he will always be my baby even if he doesn't act like it. And that's ok.
