To answer a couple of questions:
1. The jogger is awesome. Jacob loves it, falls right to sleep! It's not as hard to maneuver as I thought it would be. I am much slower going on the hills but I totally expected that. I completely recommend it for anyone looking for a jogger.
2. Weight loss. I measured myself this week. I am down a total 27.5 inches! Here's the breakdown of how many inches came from where...
Chest: 6.5 inches
Waist: 6.75 inches
Hips: 8.75 inches
Right Thigh: 5.5 inches
Crazy, right? I have been measuring myself since the beginning and have kept track of my measurements. Good thing since the center closed and they aren't measuring me anymore! I am kind of hanging right around being down 40lbs. I'm not really sure what to do with that yet. My body seems to want to hold on to this weight for some reason. Maybe a group class at the gym would help kick start it again. I'll have to check into it. Ok, now onto some pictures...
Yesterday, Jacob and I spent some quality time together. I pulled out a few pans and things to see what Jacob would do. He wanted to be a space man, I guess...
Then the pot sticks helped a little. He made some noise, I mean music. What was funny was that he would hit the pans and stop to dance and couldn't figure out where the music went. So then I had to end up making the noise, I mean music so he could boogie!
Then he wanted to see if he could reach the top of the counter...
He had a little bug last week. Turns out it made his belly a little sensitive to dairy. The nurse suggested to just cut out dairy for a few days until his belly was back to normal and then reintroduce it slowly. This is not so easy for us here. Jacob LOVES his dairy. He stood at the refrigerator this morning, screaming for milk and then again at lunch for some "sheesh" (cheese in Jacob talk). Soon, Little Man, soon.
One more thing to add...Today my mom graduates from her nursing program. She has worked very hard for this and we are very proud of her. Sorry we couldn't be there to see you graduate, Mom. Someone is to be sending me pictures. So check back for those.

I am going to start running tomorrow...yikes...I am a little nervous about it, but I need to do something...
We need to set up a playdate...
OK, Megan. What weight loss program did you use??? You are so successful - it's awesome! 40 pounds - you've lost an elementary school kid in weight! I'm struggling... I agree with the class thing - I'm thinking of trying that in my routine as well. Way to go!
Great job! You look awesome.
I hope the left thigh lost inches, too- just so you're balanced, you know :)
Keep up the great work, Megan- I am seriously so proud of what you have accomplished in such a short time. And encouraged by you to keep up with my own running, too!
Joggers are the best. Gets a little difficult when they want to have a full on conversation with you while you are huffing up a hill. Way to go Megan. You are amazing.
yay for your mom! i'm glad the jogger is working out...must be working miss weight loss! maybe you could try some yogurt for the probiotics...that might help his belly?
