and went outside to play...
and make a snowman...
The sun came out shortly after making Frosty and he was leaning a little by the end of the day.
Jacob enjoyed the snow but wasn't crazy about the fact he couldn't really move in his new snowsuit. For some odd reason, I bought a 12 months size instead of the 18 months size. Even though it is sad that he is crying at the end, I think you will enjoy the video anyway.
After dinner we celebrated Jeremiah's birthday. I made his red velvet cake with peanut butter icing this morning and he opened presents.
By the way, make sure you have the whole 1 oz bottle of red food coloring on hand when going to make a red velvet cake. Otherwise it turns out a little pink...
Oh well, it still tasted yummy. Now on to the next birthday. Mazie started counting down to her birthday on January 1. Saturday is coming way too soon for me. We have a huge surprise for the kids this week. It is so hard to keep it quiet!

Happy Birthday, Jeremiah! Hope you had a great one. Glad to see everyone enjoying the snow. Can't imagine what the surprise might be?
How much fun to have snow! Happy b-day to Jeremiah, and that video of Jacob made me laugh out loud (except the crying was a little sad!). He reminds me of the little brother on a Christmas Story movie... so bundled up he "looked like a tick about to pop!" Adorable.
Happy Birthday Jeremiah! Hope that cake was as good as it looks.
