Ten On Tuesday

1. How is it June already?

2. One of the last days of school was field day. The kids had so much fun at the various stations. It looked like so much fun that I wanted to join in. It was an overcast day, just perfect for the kids to not get overheated...
3. Jamie had a music program also to end the year. This year the Kindergarten teachers decided to do graduation after their program since most of the parents were going to be there already. Here are all five Kindergarten classes (2 full day classes, 2 AM classes, and 1 PM class) getting ready for their program...
4. The kids sang 26 songs. One for each of the letters of the alphabet. It was really cute!
5. This is what Jamie's biggest fan thought of the whole thing.
6. Then it was onto the graduation ceremony. Jamie's class was the last to line up to be presented with their diplomas...
7. Mrs. Shumaker was so awesome with Jamie (and the whole class).
8. I am going to my niece's first birthday party this weekend. In Pennsylvania. Without the kids!
9. We have to start weening Jacob off of his naps so he goes to sleep at night. He's been playing a fun little game where he just comes out of his room and joins us downstairs X 10 or so times before actually staying in bed and going to sleep. I will miss naptime!
10. I have been hired to make desserts for a huge event in August. The order is for 3 desserts per plate X 1000 plates. Yep, you read that right...one thousand! I'm a little nervous but so excited.
Happy Tuesday!

um CONGRATS on the order - that's amazing! you know we were recently having issues with bedtime, fisher calling us like a million times at bedtime (equivalent to coming out a million times). we implemented a sticker system (for both kids) where they get ONE chance, one time to call us, and then after that they lose their TV show for the next day. so far so good. i'm sure i could explain it better. might have to call you. i should go to my newphew's first bday party without kids! ha!

Very cool about the trip without the kids. And that's huge about the desserts. So great for you & such a great business opportunity! Good Luck!

It was such a bummer to give up naps around here last year, but it's also nice to have a quiet evening with the husbandly :) Good luck during transition, M. Also, awesome news on that dessert order. What a compliment!
