Children's Museum of Denver

Another of our adventures with Pop Pop was to drive to the Children's Museum of Denver. The kids were so excited about being there again. Plus there were a few exhibits that were new since we were there last. Our first stop was the Fire Station.

One of the new exhibits was a vet clinic. The kids were in heaven. Jamie loved being the receptionist...

while Jacob checked out some x-rays.

Then we headed to the second floor were all the dress up stuff is...

There is a magnetic wall too which was a hit. The only problem was that they were missing the letter C so Jacob just did without...

Then we headed to the workshop.

We spent a lot of time with the trains, of course.

Another new exhibit was the bubble room. The room was set up so there were many different way to make bubbles and many kinds of bubbles...

Do you want to know why they have such joy in their faces that you can almost hear their squeals of delight?

It's because of the huge bubbles. This one was 4 feet!

The kids enjoyed pretending to work at Whole Foods...

Then it was into the wilderness to act like birds and other nesting animals...

After a break to have lunch outside, the kids enjoyed some chalk drawing on Hopscotch the Cow...

We headed back in to do some art work...

We had a lovely day at the museum. I wish it was closer so we could go more often!
