Cripple Creek

One of our adventures while Pop Pop was visiting was to go to Cripple Creek.
We decided to go to the Molly Kathleen Mining Museum and actually descend into the active mine.

The kids had a blast. The miners take gold out of the mine still today.

I just like that picture since they have the same cheesy smile!

Since Jacob asked me if we were going to the jail one day a few weeks ago, we decided to visit the city jail. It was great! The kids were able to put on jail uniforms and check out the cells.

They even had a place set up to do mug shots...
