Naptime

If you read the Ten on Tuesday post, you read that we were going to try taking naptime away so the boy would go to bed at night. But guess what? He couldn't make it pass 2pm!
Notice the dandelion? He insisted on picking me one but did not want to actually give it to me. Instead he rubbed his cheek (like he typically does with his particular corner of his blanket) until he fell asleep still insisting that he didn't need a nap.

So we've decided to just shorten naptime. He gets a nap and mama gets to keep her sanity (for just a little while). Everyone wins!
So sleep sweet, my little man!

That's so sweet. The boy & the gesture of picking a flower for you.

Super sweet, Megan. That cracks me up that he just conked out!

that sounds like a great plan - i was frightened for you at the thought of removing the nap altogether!

So sweet! Giving up naps is so tough. . . Hayden ditched his last November and we had a rough 2 months. Most days I still wish he'd nap cause it's so hard to get anything done during the day when he doesn't sleep at all! Good luck!
