it has happened...
Jamie woke up a 5 year old this morning...
and was way too ready for it. She was ready to take her decorated sugar cookies to school for snack and bask in all the attention of today. She is ready for Kindergarten and all the big kid things that go along with it.
Five is so bittersweet to me. Five is when they go from all the baby/toddler/preschool things to all the big kid things. Big school, more sass, more attitude, more activities. They no longer need as much from me and it seems it's all of a sudden. Taekwondo has been bringing Jamie out of her shell but all of a sudden she has gotten rid of that shell and is so independent and so ready to be 5. I love you, my Big Girl. Happy 5!
