Our Easter was just wonderful. We woke up to this...
And since we woke up to this wonderful white stuff, Peter Cottontail had some difficulty getting to our house before the kids woke up. So since he was delayed, we enjoyed breakfast and some playtime. While the kids were conveniently playing in the basement, Jeremiah and I hid eggs in the house and got their baskets ready. Then I slammed doors while Jeremiah ran down the stairs and stomped around. I yelled for the kids to come and help me with "Peter" and they ran up the stairs. By the time they got to the living room, "Peter" was out the front door and no where in sight! This is what they saw...
Since Jacob was clearly not interested in whatever the bunny did, he went to work on figuring out what was in his basket and was in heaven smelling the yummy chocolate...
After the girls found a few eggs...
Jacob joined in the fun too...
But really preferred the chocolate...
and his mitt...
Then it was onto supper. After everyone enjoyed the ham, Jacob wanted a little more asparagus but only to play...
The girls really enjoyed their new ipods too...
It really was a lovely day. Oh, and the snow that started the day with 3 inches of wet snow ended the day with only 1 inch and was completely gone by 11am this morning. You gotta love Colorado weather!

SNOW! What? I can't even believe how different our weather was from yours. It looks like you had a wonderful Easter. I love that Jacob kept smelling the chocolate. And I want to be your daughter. Would I get an iPOD too? Just kidding. Great job Peter.
We had sunny and warm weather on Sunday, but we've gotten 6+ inches this morning! It's crazy up here! Glad you had a nice day!

Glad you guys had a fun day, despite the snow. At least it melts quickly and I'm sure it will be 80 degrees in a couple days. :-)
