Puzzles and Hair

Here are my thinkers. They love puzzles. Jamie hasn't quite grasped the idea of matching the different shapes and colors yet but is getting there. We usually find a match for her to just attach and she is happy with that. And, yes, Jeremiah is helping Jamie do a Strawberry Shortcake puzzle...

Mazie, however, masters a puzzle and then tries to do it upside down. Is it just me or is that a little scary? Jeremiah used to do the same when he was little.

This is where I need some help from you who actually comment...Mazie has asked me several times if anyone has written anything about her new haircut. I, of course, tell her the truth and she is actually getting upset about it. I tell her that no one notices because they are looking at what is going on in the picture instead of just her. But being four years old, she doesn't understand why she is not the center of attention...PLEASE someone write something about her haircut. Here are some pictures of her long hair...

and some of her shorter hair...

This was a big step for Mazie. She actually agreed to chop her hair to a considerably shorter length. She liked it long because then Daddy could braid it. (Yes, I said Daddy). Now he can't because it is too short. It is still as wavy as ever and now more noticeable when she twirls it. She likes it being a little more bouncy than usual. Mazie (and I) would appreciate anything anyone can comment.

Mazie- I'm a friend of Erin Cobb and check your mommy's blog often. I LOVE your haircut. I think it makes you look very grown up and beautiful! Long hair is definitely fun to play with but when you get it cut shorter, it always looks really nice and if you don't like it for some reason, you can always grow it out... Plus- isn't it easier because you have less tangles and it is easier to brush?! I definitely like the haircut!!!
