First Baseball Game

After getting up and having a normal Sunday breakfast, we got ready to go to a the girls' first baseball game at Dodgers Stadium. The girls wanted "hat ready hair". With sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses we were ready to go.

We get there only to find out that our seats are in the shade. Better safe than sorry, right? The shade was nice because it was a hot, sunny day.

The first pitch went out and the game was underway. The girls were eating snacks and having a great time. We actually had pretty good seats. We were close but not too close (at least to get hit by any balls).

Mazie started to get into the game when a batter broke a bat (the end of it actually shattered). She thought that was pretty cool. She would ask Jeremiah questions about what was going on. And about the fourth inning, Jamie decided to take a short nap. It was about 45 minutes long but just enough to give her a boost to last the rest of the day.

Then during the seventh inning stretch, some people decided to leave to beat the crowds. The girls jumped into some empty seats. This picture makes me think about what they were talking about. Maybe about the game or maybe about something totally unrelated to the day, I really have no idea because I could not hear them talking. I love seeing the girls like this...just together.

By the way, Dodgers played the Giants and won 3 - 1. That was our day today. It was a nice day and we all had a good time.
