Our Little Beauties

Thank you all so much for your responses to Mazie's new haircut. Mazie literally beamed from ear to ear every time I read another comment to her. Thanks for making her happy today. Again, thank you!

Tonight right before supper, the girls were playing beauty shop. Jamie came out from the bedroom with the Cinderella box full of hair candy. She sat down on the couch and started to play with the different clips and such. Mazie decided to help...

More like Jamie ended up being the customer and Mazie was the beautician. Jamie actually let Mazie play with her hair. That is to say she sat still and didn't yell if Mazie pulled her hair by accident. It was so nice seeing them just sit and play like this...

Mazie concentrated very hard on getting the clips into Jamie's hair without scrapping her head or pulling her hair.

Mazie even brushed through Jamie's hair without any problems. Again it was just really nice not hearing one of them yell because the other was picking. I have to say that today was definitely a good day!

And for those of you who are in Pennsylvania (or surrounding areas) and are expecting us in a few days, look out. The girls are ready! Mazie has been counting down the days since the beginning of June! She is very aware that there are only three more days until we get on a plane to head to Pennsylvania. I hope you are all ready for them because they are ready for you!

I am so proud of you Mazie and Jamie for playing so well with one another. Jamie's hair looks great! My sister and I wouldn't have lasted that long when we were younger.
