Things

A few things to catch up on. First Jamie is not happy that she didn't get as many comments as Mazie did. Maybe you can work on that for this week.

Second, remember over a week ago, the kids and I ran a race for St. Patrick's Day? Well, here are the pictures, finally.
The kids warming up for their race...
And then running. The kids just took off...
Even Jacob, he just took off and ran. Jeremiah had trouble keeping up with him at first. Then he fell. That was the end of it. It was time to be carried the rest of the way. Good thing it was only 1/2 a mile...
But the girls were so excited. They finished way ahead of their little brother. And without letting her know, Mazie let Jamie finish first....
The kids got a little Chik-Fil-A pez container with lemon pez. It was the best prize ever! Nothing like loading the kids up with sugar after a race, right? Anyway, we all had fun and it was a lovely day for a run...
Lastly, on to the rooms. The newly decorated rooms. First the spare room...
It wasn't that hard to cover up all that pink and purple, surprisingly. The color is shades of evening (or if you are normal person, light blue).
Now the girls' new room. They were so excited to move into the bigger room with their bigger beds. The walls are fresh pear (again, if your normal, light green). Mazie's side of the room has pink all over...
And Jamie's side is, of course, purple...
The only problem is that Jacob was totally expected that he was getting a newly painted room. He said that dad was going to paint his room on Saturday actually. He wanted his bed to be turned into a bigger boy bed and green walls too. To ease his pain, we agreed to redecorate his room soon. Maybe in time for his first day of school. Mom's just not ready to do all the big kid stuff he is right now...
Have a great week, everyone!
