1. Anyone check out Shelley's raffle? Did you see how much money she has raised already? Donate more if you can. She is going to be a great mama to a very fortunate little girl!

3. Anyone watch the inauguration?
4. I am very proud to be an American today.
5. I think it is important to note where you were and what you were doing so that when your children ask "where were you when...?" you can answer them. I think today is just as big in history as say the Kennedy assassination, Martin Luther King, Jr's speech, just to name two.
6. I was at the gym, on the eliptical listening to Metallica's Fuel (I'm not really a Metallica fan-it's good running music) on my ipod, when President Obama was walking out onto the platform. I stayed on the eliptical through the President's speech (45 minutes). It felt good.
7. Yep, I feel 100% back to normal. No more swelling, pain. I think all the meds are out of my system, finally.
8. I am taking a little vacation this weekend. All.by.myself. I haven't been away from my kids or my husband like this. Ever. It should be interesting and I am looking forward to it.
9. We had 3 extra kids here staying overnight. All were about the same ages as our kids. Mom is in the hospital and not doing well. That family could use your good thoughts and prayers.
10. I love my husband. He is doing a difficult (read:emotionally stressful) job at work right now and is helping so much with the family mentioned above. If anyone can take all that on his shoulders, it's Jeremiah. He is good and I love him.

The only reason I can take on the extra work is because she's back here taking on everything else.
