Taekwondo

Ok, let's get right to it. Jamie was on top of her game this morning when she lined up to take her test. She did blocks, punches, kicks, all without hesitation and really did a great job.

Grand Master Lee presenting Jamie with her new belt and certificate...

Then it was Mazie's turn. She was so confident with her form, steps, and formulas. She also did a great job. Here she is doing her jumping round house kick. She can't really be my child. Check out her height...

And her board break was a knife hand neck attack. She broke her board with the side of her hand and on the first try...
The proud girls and their awards. Mazie is holding a trophy because she had the most character stripes of all the girls. And Jamie has an extra certificate because she was invited to join the black belt club. So she will graduate to the next level at her next class and get her blue uniform.
And no test day is complete with out their colorful cake. So today they had a marble white and fudge cake with orange icing. The brown is for Mazie's brown belt and the orange is for Jamie's orange belt.

You both did a fantastic job today. We are very proud of you!
