Graduation Day

Today was Mazie's last day of Kindergarten. There was a little ceremony at the end of the day where the parents could come and watch their child get their report cards and certificates. The kids had a little presentation. Mrs. Marten read a poem where the kids said "Parents are special people" after each verse.

Then after a short reading from the teacher and a few words from the principal and vice principal, it was onto the graduating...

She was just a little proud of herself...

Then a photo with her teacher...

Mazie's report card was awesome. All Es (exemplary) and Ps (proficient) and a few As (advanced). I can't believe she is going to be going to school for a full day in August. First grade? Where does the time go?
