Yesterday, for some reason, blogger decided to "act up" and didn't let me post. So here I am today. The girls are at school. It is too quiet in the house. I am trying to keep myself busy.
Anyway, this has been a really long week for us here in the Stahr house. Jeremiah not only worked a full week (first time since before Christmas) but worked very long hours (not getting home much before 7pm each night). That may not seem late to some of you but for us who are used to him coming in the door at 5pm, it is! He not only misses supper (a very big deal) but misses playing with the girls after supper (an even bigger deal). He also has been eating really late, like after the girls are in bed. This isn't helping the sympathy weight at all! (hee hee) The girls have been, for the most part, really good. So yesterday I decided to treat them with a trip to Valley Park. They were so excited. It did us all some good to get out in the air...
In the last picture, the girls were yelling, "tally ho". I am not even sure where they have ever heard that but that's what they were yelling. I couldn't stop laughing. It was quite funny.
Also, yesterday and today, Jamie didn't cry when I left her at school. She didn't cry the first two days of school and then decided she was going to have a little separation anxiety. This literally lasted until I got out of the school, 1 minute tops. Her teacher, Miss Angie, thinks it is because we have started to pack her lunch. She refused to eat lunch at school, even if it was mac and cheese-her favorite. So I started to put a peanut butter sandwich, fishes or pretzel sticks, and baby carrots into a bag. The only way she was allowed to take it to school was if she actually sat at the table with her friends to eat it. It worked. I think because she sat with the other kids, she got comfortable with them. I blame Jeremiah for this. Completely! If he wasn't such a hermit and picky eater, we wouldn't have a little girl who is going through it as well. I recently found out that he used to pack his lunches until he started high school.
This week I had my 30 week OB check up. The doctor decided to schedule my c-section for March 26. Mazie was pretty excited about this. She said, "I think we can plan things now." Is she only 5? She seemed to understand what she said. She proceeded to say things like, "we have to get some clothes for the baby by then" and "we will need to practice changing diapers until then". Cracked me up! I think Mazie is going to be such a great helper. I also think she is the one who will keep me moving when I am exhausted and don't want to anymore. She is quite the motivator when she wants to be!

Thanks for the post--just what I needed as we sit here in more snow, 1 week overdue! I've been okay with not having our baby with us until today. Tally Ho, already, and come out so we can meet you!
I can't believe you are at 30 weeks already. Seems like we saw that positive test just the other day!
I hope the girls are huge helpers, and I know they will love their little brother!
