Birthday Party: Number One

Well, today didn't quite turn out like we planned. Turns out our hot water heater needed to be replaced and the person who came to do the work too forever to replace it. We still picked up the girls early thinking we would be able to leave as soon as he was finished but it was well after 1pm. We would have made it to the park and had to turn around to make it back to be in time for our party this evening. So with only a little disappointment, Mazie said Monday would do to go but we have to go ALL day. AGREED! Here she is showing off a present from Gramma B that came today. She loves her jewelry...

Then with some rest this afternoon, we were all ready to party. So we headed to Buca De Beppo for JJ's 30th birthday party. Here are a few shots from the party...

Here the waiter was really singing it up to JJ. He was shouting out things like "I love you JJ" while we were singing "Happy Birthday". It was wonderful...

Tomorrow Mazie has her birthday party. I think she is more excited about that than she was about today being her actual birthday. She can't wait for her cake, presents, and her friends to celebrate with her.
