Beach Park and Great Friends

Yesterday the girls and I went to the beach park (aka Veterans Park) to meet JJ and Alla for a playdate. After we got there, we received a pleasant surprise...Ron was along. We love playing at the park with JJ and Alla but the addition of Ron made yesterday a special playdate!

Mazie and Ron have a special bond. Ron will do almost any physical stunt with Mazie, such as flying, climbing, monkey bars, etc., without much coaxing from her. Mazie is certainly going to miss Ron and his ability to never tire (or show his exhaustion) of Mazie.

Alla and Jamie had a good time playing in the sand. Alla would grab handfuls of sand and just toss them everywhere. The funny thing about this is that Jamie did not once tell Alla to stop it. This is a big deal. If it would have been anyone else, they would have had an earful of Jamie's yells! Jamie just kept playing beside her friend and ignoring the "raining" sand.

This picture of Alla makes me laugh. She was watching her daddy play with Mazie. Every time Mazie hung on the monkey bars Alla would say, "WOW". It was cute. She was truly impressed with Mazie's ability to hang.

Also, so that it doesn't seem like I am not including JJ in any of this, I did happen to snap a picture of her. She was busy snapping pictures too, as you can see, doing what she does best.

Even with the June gloom, the girls had a really great time at the park and are going to miss their playmates when they move. As for the adults, it goes without saying how much they are going to be missed.
