Jacob starts school in a few weeks...August 10 to be precise. So he's been working on writing his name. He is very particular about how it looks too. He does not typically spend time during the day writing his letters but he expects his name to look like one of the girls wrote it. Tall expectations for a 3 year old, I know.
If you ask Jacob to spell his name, he says, "J A C O B" with a big smile on his face. He knows it's right. So he practiced with Dad. Dad had to write it on another magnadoodle (I love those things) so Jacob could make sure his letters looked like dad's.

The "B" proved to be the tricky part. He couldn't figure out how to get the circle part of the lower case b to touch the line. He was pretty frustrated but I think he did a pretty great job!

Especially since he isn't supposed to learn to write lower case letters until the end of the year, according to the preschool curriculum!
Happy Friday!

THis is adorable- Lolo has been hard at work on her name, too. I'm so proud, but then kind of sad, too...
