Happy Friday

Today officially started Fall break. The girls are off of school for two whole weeks. This mama has lots planned over the next week to occupy these girls so they don't get into too much trouble and then we are heading off to California for the second week. I can't say it enough that we are so excited about meeting up with our friends.

Since today was the start of Fall break, the girls were sent home with their pictures yesterday. I was worried that they would smile like they did in my picture. And they did...

Oh, well, they are still pretty little girls even with the cheesy smiles!

I have been warned over and over to get Jacob's curl cut and make him look like a boy.

Well, I finally caved and did it today. And, because I knew that there was no possible way of him sitting still for me, I took him to the place that I take the girls. At first he sat up on the booster seat and accepted the cape...

And then he was rethinking the whole thing and mom had to stop taking pictures so she could home him...

So I gladly held my little one and he snuggled in as tight as he could. I just kept switching him from side to side until the lady was pleased. I, however, said that I wanted the hair put back on right away. He looked way to grown without that little curl in the back. When we got home, he modeled the back of his head for me.

See? Doesn't he look old now? I want the curl back and I have been cursing my darling husband ever since!

On other news, we are gearing up for the Air Force Football game tomorrow. Go Air Force! Sink Navy!

Very cute. Watch one day your girls' cheesy smiles will turn in to beautiful smiles. Very cute though. Can't wait to see you guys in person.

Great pictures of the girls-even with the cheesy smiles. They still always have a way of being photogenic. I like Jacob's haircut - it does make him look a bit older but he definitely does look like a boy now.

I like the haircut, too. One day that curl would have turned into a mullet and you'd have never been forgiven!

Those are GREAT school pictures! Just what you expect and perfect to get a smile from you when you look back at them in 10 years.

Jacob is looking good with that new haircut!
