California: Part II

This is about all of our awesome friends we spent time with in California. I had to narrow down which pictures to post, I just had way too many. So here you go with the things we did when we weren't at the parks...

Cory didn't waste any time doing things around the house. In fact, he put the girls right to work. They helped him plant flowers...

They also came in that night to supper and ate without whining. Something that doesn't always happen around here! And why does everyone we know (who have no children) have an awesome tub to bath kids in? It boggles my mind. If I had a tub like this, I probably would have more kids...

We had a reunion dinner at the Laughrey's house. The Killins and Bolanders were there as well as CoryandKristina. (You will note that there are no spaces between their names because that's how the girls refer to them always. They are one unit and are not ever separate from each other!) Anyway, we couldn't get enough of this little one who decided to be cool and dress like Jeremiah (if you only knew how hard that was to type with the laughing fit I am having)!

And this beauty started every sentence with "well" that sounded more like "whale" and was my best bud looking at all the Disneyland pictures that I had on my camera. She even wore out what was left of my battery which explains the lack of pictures of the Bolanders (not sure why I didn't carry my extra, charged battery along to the house)...

We did this a lot during the week...

Mazie preferred the hot tub to the cold tub...

Jacob just liked to bounce and splash...

We had a little lunch cookout thing at CoryandKristina's. The kids got to swim a little and enjoy one last play time together before we had to leave. The dad's with the kids...

I have to say that I am so very jealous of how this mama carries her babies. She is glowing and small and just beautiful.

And another beautiful mama swimming with Alla and Jamie who look like they were racing here. I think all the kids had fun in the pool...

Then it was time to eat and have some of CoryandKristina's cookies. These two were just sitting outside, enjoying the sun and their cookies...

This picture makes me laugh. I love everything about it. Wally and Jamie trying to look into the camera, Kelsea wrapping around Mazie, Alla's hesitant look.

All that happened while my littlest one napped in the next room with just his pants on because it was so warm (but still wrapped in his blanket so he could rub it on his chin if he needed to).

Funny how we went from all that nice, sunny weather to this...

This morning we woke up to the white stuff and 26 degrees of cold. Ah, wonderful Colorado weather!

What a great trip! Love seeing all those kids together.

Have fun with the snow! It's good to know that we're not alone in that up here in Montana, just a week or so ahead!
