First I would like to say that I really appreciate all your support. I had to re-read my post from last week and it "sounded" like I was down. You all encouraged me and gave me positive things to think about. I really wasn't down. I am positive. In fact, last week I started running. Yep, me, running. Now it isn't marathon quality or anything but I have no desire to achieve that (at least yet-maybe someday?). I just thought I would test it out and I did and it worked. So I am really quite proud of what is happening. I am also to the point where if I don't make it to the gym when I have planned on going, I get a little cranky (sorry family). So I make sure I get there when possible. This all doesn't mean that I don't look forward to your words of encouragement. I really do. They all help me A LOT! So thank you for all you are doing to support me while I work toward my goal.
This weeks total: I am down 2.8 lbs from last week. I had gained a pound last week (thanks to retaining some water) and that came off plus another pound. My total weight loss is at 11.2 lbs according to the center's scale. I think I am finally off that plateau that I was kind of hanging around and on my way to the next one. There are many if I remember correctly. They seem to pop up right about every ten pounds (sometimes being a girl just stinks). So my goal is to be down about 20lbs by the end of the month. I think I can do it. I get measured again in two weeks and I am really excited about that. I have been getting into some clothes (comfortably) that I haven't worn for a long time and it feels really great! I may have to add a picture at that one but we will see.

I agree with J.J....pictures please...I know sometimes it shows up in inches sooner than in pounds...Keep up the good work!
Congratulations! Stick to your plan - it will pay off! Great week!
Way to go, Megan!
So great. Can't wait for those pics.
WOOHOO!
Great job! And yay for the running! I'd be happy to put together a "training plan" for you! There's a fun 5K right near your house in mid-May (Alex Hoag Run for Fun). . . that sounds like a great goal!
