You can imagine our surprise when we left temperatures in the 80s in Pennsylvania to find this when we arrived home last night (after a really long day of travelling-more on that later)...
Mazie said this morning, "It's October. Doesn't it usually snow in the winter?" Apparently, not in Colorado. Jamie was just delighted to see the white stuff. She couldn't believe there was some on her playset. And, as I predicted, the tree was bare...
There was a small pile of leaves that the neighbor kids put together for jumping but it was under the snow. I am sure they will be soggy by the time the snow melts probably tomorrow. So much for my idea for Jacob's 7 month picture being taken with the leaves. Pictures from our trip will come. I must finish unpacking.

Snow already?! Well at least it doesn't stick around for too long! Hope you guys had a nice trip!
Glad you're back and can't wait to hear about the trip!
i predict a leaf picture in your future! you know it will be back to 70 by friday! looks like you guys need a grill cover!
You know, the sad thing is, we have a grill cover. The wind likes to take it off every now and then!
Welcome home! Tell Mazie that she's lucky that she wasn't here last year. We had a blizzard just before Halloween.
