So, like I said, I'm not sure where the time went. Last night at supper I was telling Mazie that at that moment, 8 years ago, I remember starting back labor. I told her that I decided to take a shower and go to bed. After waking up at 2:30 the next morning in active labor, we knew she would arrive that day. After going to the hospital on Wright Patterson AFB at 7am, going through 8 more hours of labor and 2 hours of pushing, Mazie arrived by way of c-section at 5:37pm with a squeaky little cry that I will never forget. She loves her birth story. And today we celebrated her turning 8. She is growing into such an amazing little lady. She has a mind of her own and the sass to go with it. She loves to learn and looks for things to figure out.
We are so very proud of you Miss Mazie Moo. We hope you enjoyed your special day. We love you, always!
