Baking

Pumpkin season is here. It's official when I break out the pumpkin chip muffin recipe that I only use this time of year. Pumpkin and chocolate chips...what's better than that, right? Jacob calls them "punky muffins" and "mmmm" noises come from him as he eats them. I make the mini ones so the kids get to have two muffins!
I also made some pumpkin whoopie pies. Jacob calls they "punky muffy pies" and again with the "mmmm" noises. I made some with vanilla filling and some with chocolate. The chocolate filled pies went over much better (surprised?).
So we had quite a few slogans to chose from. We really appreciated everyone's input and support with all this. It has been very excited and scary all at the same time. We finally decided on one slogan and it really fits us, I think.

"Homemade Goodness! Made in my home...Enjoyed in yours!"

Amy gave us that idea. So I will email you with my shippable goodies and you can choose what you would like. Thanks again to everyone who gave ideas. They were really great!

So we are going to introduce the website to the business. You can go to http://www.stahrscakes.blogspot.com/ to check out the site. Feel free to let me know what you think. I will be posting goodies there from time to time. We are also having a kick off party. So anyone in the area, feel free to join us on November 1. We are having an open house for people to come by and sample some cakes and treats. If anyone who attends the party places an order, they will receive 10% off! You can go here for more information. Hope you can join us!

Great website! I know you well do very well with your new venture. After all, I have had the added privilege of being an official "taste-tester" and I can vouch for the goodness. Well worth the efforts!
