So the floor guy was here today and ripped out the floor and carpet. Made a huge, dusty mess all over. But, since he left around 1pm this afternoon, I had time to clean up a little before he comes back tomorrow. According to the floor guy our kitchen will be complete tomorrow. Meaning that the floor will be installed and the appliances will be put in their spots. I can't wait.
Jeremiah had an excellent idea this afternoon. He thought it would be cool if the kids signed their names on the plywood before the installer came tomorrow to put in the new floor. When the floor guy left and Jacob was up from his nap, we let them all have sharpies and sign their names to the floor...
Surprisingly, no one got sharpie on themselves. Now our kids will be apart of this house always. Kind of a neat idea, donchathink?

I love this idea- our church did this right before they put the floors in the new building. Kind of a cool thing to be apart of something that will continue on after you've been there :)
