Christmas Party and the 20 Hour Strike

Tonight Jamie's preschool had a Christmas party. When we got there, all the kids got into their seats and sang to us. It was so cute. Nothing like a bunch of 3 year olds singing the Peppermint stick song (from the last post) and Jingle Bells.

The teachers had a craft table set up so we could make snowman door knob hangers. I had to do all the work while Jamie told me where everything went.

Then off to the coloring table to color Rudolph...

And then enjoying some of the treats. Jamie and I had a really nice time at her party. Notice Jamie's hair? She got it cut today and the hairdresser curled the ends. Too cute.

Now about the 20 hour strike. Jacob has decided to go on a nursing strike. The last time he nursed was at 4:30 pm yesterday. Since he doesn't drink anything else yet (the sippy cup is more of a toy right now), I was worried he wouldn't get enough fluid. So with the help of a lactation specialist (and JJ-thanks, friend), we figured out what was going on and I went out to get a pump. At 12:30 Jacob woke from his nap and nursed for 20 minutes! He has been nursing normally ever since. I am hoping that won't happen again. Have a happy weekend.
