Weekend Things and New Friends

This weekend we took the kids to the USAF Academy to show them "daddy's college". The girls enjoyed seeing all the airplanes especially in the visitors center. This is what Jacob did most of the time we were on base...

I love this picture because Mazie is giving an actual smile instead of her "fake" one, Jamie is posing with her pretty dress, and Jeremiah and Jacob are holding their heads the same way.

When Jamie decided it was time for her nap, she crawled into our bed and fell sleep. She looks so comfy...

This is what Jacob and Mazie were doing during Jamie's nap. Jacob looks like he is wondering why Mazie is covering herself with one of his blankets.

Today we had a playdate with our new friends! I was so excited and looking forward to meeting Kristen and her kids. Karina is 4 and Colin is 2. The girls were happy to be playing with new kids as well. Thanks, Susie, for giving my information to Kristen. We will be living close to each other when we finally move into our house!

Colin decided to crawl into the water table. I love that he looks like he better get out of the table before getting into trouble! Aside from Mazie being a little bossy from time to time, the kids played very well together. Thanks, Kristen, for everything. We had fun and can't wait until the next playdate!

After looking at the pictures again today, Colin looks a lot like Chris in that picture of the water table. Did you meet Chris, too?

Susie,
No we didn't meet Chris. He was working. But hopefully soon we will all get together.

that's the same table we have - but it's all sand this year because otherwise it's just all mud!
