Weekend Fun

Friday night, we joined the Clarks at the Shertzer's house for a very yummy dinner. The food was so good that I even ate a piece of chicken breast! This is a big deal since I haven't been able to keep a piece of chicken down since Jacob was conceived. All the girls went crazy over Hayden. Mazie and Jamie loved playing with little Miss Caroline as well. They couldn't stop talking about either of them all the way home.

Mr. Hayden was working so hard to roll over. He seemed to follow the girls when they walked by...

Mazie tried her best to coax him. He got so close but his arm would get in the way. Soon, Hayden, soon!

Thanks for the yummy dinner, Amy, and the yummy dessert, Samantha. I will have to get a few of those recipes from you soon.

Today we decided to check out the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. I could not get over how close you could get to the giraffes. They are my favorite zoo animal. You could actually feed them. Amazing. This one was trying to get some crackers.

Since he was leaning so far over the fence, Jacob and I decided to get a picture. The giraffe, however, decided to taste my hair! I guess it didn't taste like crackers because he didn't do it again!

At the end of our trip, the girls wanted to do the pony rides. Mazie was so determined. She got up on her little pony. The pony decided to shake off some of the horseflies which made Mazie shake almost as much. She didn't go around. Mazie got right back off of the pony. Good try, Mazie, maybe next time!

Then it was Jamie's turn. She got up on her little pony and started off. On her last lap, the leader told her to say, "Yee Haw". Woo Hoo, Jamie, good job.
