I've been tagged by JJ to tell all of you 6 things that make me weird and 6 things that make me happy. So here we go...
Weird
1. I am afraid of bees. TERRIFIED of them. I know you are supposed to be still so not to anger them but I can't. I run in fear! I am getting better since the girls are becoming more aware of such things. I would really not rather hand that type of thing down to them!
2. I have to have all the closet doors completely open or completely closed. No half way, no crack. For bedtime they must be completely closed.
3. All of my money must be facing the same way in my wallet. I really could care less if they are upside down but they must all be.
4. I have to floss my teeth from left to right, top to bottom. They don't feel clean if I do it backwards!
5. Chocolate tastes like dirt to me. This is completely because I am pregnant so the taste thing isn't that weird. However, the weird thing is is that even though I know the chocolate will taste like dirt once it touches my mouth, I still want to try it.
6. I have a different ring tone for every phone number in my cell phone. That way I know who is calling even before I look at the phone.
Now for a little break...these pictures were from last night. Jamie needed a little coaxing to eat some of her pork chops at dinner. Jeremiah said he would take her picture if she would eat a bite. She shoved a piece in so fast that I thought she would choke! They got a little silly after that, so here are some funny pictures of the girls...
Happy
1. My girls. I know it seems a little cliche but they do make me very happy. Their giggles and smiles. The way they love each other and get along. The fact that I know they love me and think I am cool (for the most part). The way they get excited when I (or Jeremiah) pick them up at school. The way they love to dress in dresses and be girls or dress in pants and be not-so-girly. Just love them!
2. My husband. Again cliche but it's true. I love the way he loves me especially now when I am extremely moody. I yell at him for no reason (he's not the reason the electric company took all day to fix the power outage) yet he still wants to be near me. Also three pregnancies now and each baby was bigger than the last meaning I got bigger each pregnancy and he doesn't notice (or is really good and doesn't say anything). I am not stupid, I know he notices-who doesn't! I am a lucky girl!
3. I love having visitors. Showing them the sites, entertaining, etc. We need a bigger house with another bathroom or two. But all the same, I love to have friends and family visit.
4. Celebrations. Birthday parties, babies, holidays, weddings, any reason to celebrate makes me happy. It just seems like when everyone gets together for any reason, happiness is there. I feel happiest when the ones I love are happy as well.
5. Family time. Whether it is eating supper together (which is every night unless Jeremiah is TDY) or going to the park or Disneyland, we are together. I love seeing the girls get excited about the park or get silly when we are having fun tickling or reading at home.
6. Simple things. Getting mail-cards, letters, not bills or junk, getting an unexpected phone call from someone I haven't heard from for a while, seeing an old friend after too long (even when we visit our family in PA), the sun, nice weather, hot peppermint tea when I didn't ask for it, a hug or kiss that wasn't asked for.
How was that? Too wordy? Maybe that should be a weird thing...
Anyway, the girls went to school today very excited about their Valentine's Day party. It isn't a normal day for Jamie but she was allowed to go if I picked her up before lunch. Good deal. Here they were saying, "Happy Valentine's Day"...
Then after school, the girls wanted to change since they were pretty dirty from the sand at school. Of course, since it is Valentine's Day we had to put on dresses. Jamie asked Mazie to read to her. Mazie would never say no to that. She is actually sounding out the words here and after two pages, Jamie was ready to rock for a nap. I wasn't allowed to read anymore.
So there you have it. Weirdness, happiness, and Valentine's pictures. I tag Jason and Laura who need to update their blog!
Anyone who is on hello and has me as a friend, I have had to change my log in name. It is now meganrstahr if you are interested in changing it on your end. Anyone who doesn't have hello should get it. It is free and so easy to download and use.
Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!
