Pennsylvania and Such

Finally! I have had a chance to actually sit down at the computer, upload and fix our photos from our PA trip, and try to blog. We have been home since Monday evening but since it has been kind of crazy around here, I guess that isn't too bad.

Anyway, we had a great time visiting our family. We got in to Harrisburg around 10:30am on Friday and the girls didn't stop talking the entire hour it took to drive back to Pop Pop's house. Then when we did get there, they had to check out all the decorations. It was kind of funny. Pop Pop took the girls to see the reindeer at the park.

As you can see the girls didn't even need jackets in Pennsylvania. It was as warm there as it is cold here in California.

We went to Turkey Mam's house for our Christmas get together on Saturday. Everyone was there. The girls had fun tearing into gifts and visiting...

Sunday we had our Christmas get together at Pop Pop's house. The day started out with the girls getting their aprons on and baking a batch of oatmeal peanut butter cookies with Pop Pop...

Then some pictures by the tree, even one with all the grandchildren. This is so hard to come by since their ages range from Jamie being 2 1/2 to Jonathon being 22...

Just a quick note here. Jonathon (the one on the far right) graduated from college on Saturday. He is the first in this group and we are very proud of him.

Out of all the things they opened, the best gifts were their Fisher Price KidTough digital cameras from Pop Pop. The girls didn't stop taking pictures with them once they were opened.

Also, something else high on the list were their princess watches from Uncle Josh and Aunt Carissa. I have had to fight them on when to take them off. They also got a lot of ColorWonder paper, markers, and paints. The girls absolutely love them. Who ever invented ColorWonder was a genius in my book!

Now onto our Christmas party at Jeremiah's office on Tuesday. We were all excited about going this year because Santa was going to be there giving out gifts. Plus the girls wanted to see if Daddy really does hang their art work in his office.

One more bit of information. Since we couldn't expect Mazie to keep such a large secret (she is only 4 for God's sake), we decided that we had to tell our family the sex of Peanut. So for those of you who don't know, Peanut is a very healthy and very big boy.

So here we are all caught up. The girls have been singing Christmas songs for about two weeks now. It is kind of cute that one of them starts a song and the other joins in no matter what they are doing. It kind of puts you in the mood for Christmas. I hope you all had a good weekend and aren't too busy with last minute Christmas shopping.
