Before the show, in our seats, waiting patiently for the Wiggles to get wiggling...
When the announcer started to play some music, it was time to get comfy. Notice the sandals came off...
Then the Big Red Car came out and Jacob was ecstatic. He couldn't believe the Wiggles (ok, more importantly the Big Red Car) were real.
and so I did just that. Jacob just happened to be my guitar...
I think I ended up having way more fun than the kids (and probably more than an adult should have) but I thought it was a fantastic show. And the kids had a great time. It was a great afternoon. No outing to downtown Colorado Springs is complete without a stop at Fargos for supper. The kids love this place. Mostly because of the player piano they can put quarter into and pretend they are playing...
I did my first black belt club class this week. It was a great class. My foot wasn't so happy about it though. My toe decided to not turn with the rest of my foot when I was learning a new step. Therefore, it cracked. Now it is taped snuggly to it's partner in crime and will be for a few weeks. Toes should not be able to break that easily. At least not when you step on toys and jam them into things that are out of place on a daily basis and nothing happens. It is a lovely shade of blue or purple or even red depending on which way you are looking at it. My first taekwondo wound!
School starts on Wednesday. I know I have said this a number of times already. This time Mazie is super ready for school to start and can't wait for Wednesday. All the pencils are sharpened. All the school supplies are labeled and ready to go. Jamie is even ready to have her meeting on Wednesday. It's going to be an interesting week!
Also Gramma (my mama) is here for a visit. She arrived today. So check back for pictures of fun things we are squeezing in around the start of school!
