Today was Jamie's first day of Kindergarten...
We walked to school together. She was so excited that she wanted to run the whole way...
Just us girls walked today. Mazie, too. Jacob stayed home with Gramma. The parents were invited to stay for a story, The Kissing Hand, and then hugs and kisses. The PTA had a tissue tea set up for those parents who needed the tissues. I didn't stay for that. I am happy to report that I made all the way across the street from the school until the waterworks started. Maybe next year...

Tissue Tea- I've never heard of that! I'm glad to hear she was so excited, that's the best way to send them off, yes?

Congratulations, Jamie! Glad to hear you were so excited to go to school on your first day. You are a special five-year-old and I know you will have a great school year. Let me know about all the fun things that you do in Kindergarten.
Love tissue tea...sounds so delicate and sweet...only I would be sobbing and looking not so delicate and sweet.
