It was nice talking all the way to school. Then I dropped her off at her line of all the bigger kids and it hit me that she was starting third grade. I thought last year was hard dropping her at the first grade line. She just rolled her eyes at me when she saw tears in mine. I walked home alone trying not to cry the rest of the way. One good thing is that she requested that I walk to pick her up. I guess she doesn't mind sharing the walk home with just mom and telling me about her big day.

First Day #1
So I walked Mazie to school today for her first day of third grade. It was just me and my girl...
It was nice talking all the way to school. Then I dropped her off at her line of all the bigger kids and it hit me that she was starting third grade. I thought last year was hard dropping her at the first grade line. She just rolled her eyes at me when she saw tears in mine. I walked home alone trying not to cry the rest of the way. I can't believe you are old enough to have a 3rd grader. I am so relieved that I am only old enough to have a preschooler. :)
