Tonight we had the Laughery's over for dinner. (If Katie would have a blog, I would insert the link here.) We had homemade pizza. The girls decided to help make the crust. Since we were having guests, we decided to make two crusts. And since each crust takes 90 minutes in the bread machine, we had to start three hours before the pizzas had to go into the oven. The girls didn't mind, though. They like to help!
Jamie sure kept an eye on the measuring! Mazie also likes to help with the baking. They both feel like BIG girls when they get to help, especially if they get to show off their aprons!
After Katie, Wallis, and Kelsea arrived, we had a little time to visit before we could eat the pizzas. Mazie, of course, had to hold Kelsea. Kelsea actually sat with Mazie. She usually squirms but tonight she was interested in Mazie. Notice how both girls have their feet on Katie (good thing she didn't mind)!
After we enjoyed our dinner, Wallis entertained the girls with some games. Here the girls are trying their eye-hand coordination...
The girls had such fun keeping Wallis occupied (or the other way around!). They also did a little arm and thumb wrestling. Quite interesting, if I do say so myself. Katie and Wallis brought over a scrumptious cake that was in a "plus" sign to celebrate our little news. Thanks for the cake, guys. It was great!
