When Mazie came home from school, the cake was cooled and ready to frost. This is really Mazie's favorite part, of course. So she dressed in her little apron and got a butter knife and started to spread the icing. We weren't even half way through when she decided to start "frosting" her finger and licking it.

Anyway, this was part of a birthday gift for Ron. I just wanted to show him how much love went into his birthday cake. It's not every day someone gets a home made cake from such great helpers. We all hope Ron has another great year ahead!

We are SO sad that you won't be able to make his cake next year. Thanks soooo much to the THREE of you (!!) for making such an awesome cake full of love yesterday. You know it's Ron's favorite:)
Gee, Megan!...It seems only yesterday that you were my "little helper" and now you have two of your own!....I am so proud to be called your Mother!!!!...Now your'e a BLOGGER!!!This is so nice that I can watch the girls grow and read the stories!...You always had the 1000 words to describe the pictures!...Keep the stories and pictures coming!
mmmmmm...Megan's chocolate cake. That post was a little cruel to those of us who didn't get to be there for the yumyums!
How did you get such great pictures of the cake-baking? Let me guess...J.J.?
The girls are growing up so fast! Carissa and I can't wait to see them again. That is a classic shot of you three making a cake together. Megan, just don't let the little princesses get their hands on the "How-To Book" on Jello tossing (those were the days...lol)
