You know it's Thanksgiving if the Pumpkin Chip muffins are in the oven. Mazie decided she wanted to give her long-term substitute teacher some muffins for being such a great teacher. Her original teacher returns from maternity leave on Monday. Such a thoughtful little girl.
Jacob is getting into EVERYTHING lately. He decided to crawl under the end table to get to the cord. Should I be worried?
We have a visitor for Thanksgiving. We are pet sitting our neighbor girl's guinea pig, Buddy. I say "we" but it is really Jeremiah who is taking care of Buddy. Mazie and Jamie love giving him his carrots, however. Last night after Taekwondo class, the girls decided they wanted to pet him.
And then they wanted to hold him. I am not so surprised about Jamie holding Buddy but Mazie shocked me. Check these out...
Needless to say, we will not be owning a guinea pig. He is going back home on Friday. This is what we woke up to this morning...
I also had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Preston today. He is so tiny and so cute, just adorable. All the Egberts are doing well. Happy Birthday Brian.

Ah yes... Pumpkin Choc. Chip Muffins. The first real sign of the Holidays. Forget Wal-Mart putting out the artificial Christmas trees or the first neighbor hanging lights. I really know it's the Holiday season when the Pumpkin Chip muffins are in season.
And, BTW - thanks to my beautiful wife, I'm now known as the "Muffin Man" at work. I took a tray of the muffins to work the other day and have suddenly become a hero! I don't have the heart to tell them that I really live on Ardley Drive instead of Drury Lane...
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!....Hope you have a wonderful day....according to the "Muffin Man"...you at least will have the muffins!...:-) Just love the pictures..Glad to see Jacob already thinking pf different ways to get to where he wants to go!!!See, Mazie, not all animals are mean and nasty!...glad you are holding the hampster...Love to all
