Main Street Disneyland

On Friday we went to Disneyland. Normally it would have been a perfect afternoon at the park. Since it was Veterans Day and the first day of the holiday decorations at Disneyland. EVERYONE was there. It was packed to say in the least. The parking attendants were even turning people away if they were going to Disneyland. They were not selling new tickets. If you already had tickets or annual passes, you could get in. I have never heard of Disneyland being full!

Note to self: Never go to Disneyland on the first day of their Christmas season!

Anyway, here are a few pictures of our day...

Here I had to go to the bathroom (going every 30 minutes these days), so the girls were watching Goofy dance around to some music the firemen were playing. Instead of getting pictures of Goofy, Jeremiah took this of the girls. It thought it was pretty good!

We walked across to California Adventure to try to get a picture for our Christmas photo. However, you can't really see Jamie and Mazie was so scared she looked pretty uncomfortable. The person who took the picture was really nice though.

We did everything possible with the crowd on Main Street. There really isn't much to do besides going through the shops and eating. However, we did walk into the theater and watch some old black and white Mickey cartoons. We also watched the movie about Disney's first 50 years. It was pretty neat to see how Disneyland came about and where they plan to take it from here. We had even with the crowd!

I commend you on braving the crowds. Looks like it was worth it, though, and the entire family had a nice day!
