Video, Jail, and Gold

Today we went to the Autry National Center. We had a great time exploring the Wild West. The girls were able to get on a saddle in front of a blue screen and see themselves in an old western movie. They thought it was pretty neat to see themselves on TV...

Mazie even "helped" Jamie get out of the way of the bad guys! This was really funny when they were on the screen together...

While walking through another part of the museum that dealt with cowboys and their gear, we saw a makeshift jail where the girls were very excited to pose for a picture...

On our way out to look for gold, the girls saw this horse and had to pose again. It seemed they took any opportunity to act like cowgirls!

Then we were able to search for gold! Jamie was so excited when Jeremiah found a little stone in her dish...

Pop Pop helped Mazie and we ended up finding about six pieces of the "gold". The girls struck it rich!

It was a nice way to end Pop Pop's vacation. Tomorrow he flies home and we won't see him again until February. The girls had a great time with Pop Pop, as usual (so did the rest of us!).
