16 Weeks

Monday we had a 16 week check up. Peanut is doing just fine. Yes, there is only one in there (believe it or not). The doctor couldn't find the baby's heart beat right away so he decided to do another ultrasound. Peanut is measuring right on track and his/her heartbeat is normal. I felt Peanut move on Friday for the first time. Mazie and Jamie were very excited about seeing their new sibling on the monitor. Jamie just stared at the screen. Mazie kept saying, "there's the head". It was pretty funny. The doctor was very impressed with the girls. He told Mazie that she was very smart and that he likes her! That kind of made her day. So that's the update for now. Next update will be in November at 20 weeks.
